Fabulous Stay at Casa Radda

We had an amazing stay at Casa Radda over Thanksgiving 2017. We stayed for 8 nights and there were 6 of us. All of the bedrooms are master suites and have amazing views!! The fourth bedroom (which we didn't use) has its own entrance and is a bit more private, but does not have as good of views). All the rooms are very large with huge bathrooms that have double sinks, large showers and a toilet closet. All the common spaces are nicely furnished and have a very open feel. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us and there would be more than enough space for 8. The patio outdoors has a large table that seats atleast 8 people plus six super comfy padded loungers and two extra comfy chairs. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, glasses, pantry, etc. There are two dishwashers which came in handy. There is a washer and dryer located in the garage. The beach is an easy walk and there are beach chairs and umbrellas in the garage that you can use. We found everyone we worked with was extremely helpful and very nice. From working out the reservation with Maria and Alilat, to all the help Alilat gave us while we were there - always quick to answer my emails. We used their pantry stocking service as well as the cook for several meals. They were so nice and amazing what they can whip up in an hour for 6 people. We mostly did lunches and had delicious ceviche, chicken mole, tacos, carne asada, taquitos and of course always salsa/pico and guacamole. They would pick up the fish fresh from the dock that day. We also had a yoga instructor come, we had two different ones and they were both excellent. We were there for over a week so one housekeeping service was included and the ladies were very sweet and did a great job. We did not find the need to have them come more than the one time, but you can have them come more often if you would like. I would strongly recommend renting a car if you stay here and want to go into town. It is about a 15-20 drive to San Jose del Cabo, but there are a few restaurants even closer - Buzzards - just off the property - you can walk there and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, about a 10 minute drive is Flora Farms ( a must!!) and Tamarindos, where we also had a great dinner. These are located a bit off the main road but worth the detour. We had an excellent vacation and would definitely consider returning here!!

Beautiful Property, Incredible Value

Stunning property - immaculately clean, excellent location (quiet / safe, short & easy walk to beach, short drive to downtown SJD). Staff is helpful & responsive. An absolutely incredible value for what you get - private pool, swim-up bar, fire-pit, ocean views from all bedrooms. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Fabulous Experience!

What a fabulous experience! The pictures do not do the house justice. Very comfortable, well appointed and perfect if you just want to kick back and chill. Entire facility is outstanding. Alilat (concierge) gets five-stars for her assistance in booking excursions, in-house dining and in-house spa services and just being there when/if you need her. A bit off the beaten track but not geographically undesirable by any means. There was one hiccup along the way as there was construction taking place immediately next door which was not mentioned in the listing. That said, we were able to come to an amicable resolution with both the host and concierge regarding the miscommunication. Would absolutely stay there again.

Lovely Casa Radda

This is our second time renting a home at El Encanto – this year we rented the lovely Casa Rada. We stayed two weeks – wish it could have been two months… The House: Casa Rada is impressively furnished and laid-out – complete with everything we’d have wished for. We live nicely in Orange County CA and anytime we rent a house we wonder if we’ll be forced to lower our standard of living. Well, not at El Encanto and not at Casa Rada. The house slept my family of 4 + two waves of family and friends over the two weeks we spent there. On the max nights we had 7 adults and what must have been 100 kids (okay, not that many) and there was plenty of space to spread out. The Community: If you’ve not experienced El Encanto yet – and are looking for a home in a quiet community away from the noise… yet with proximity to the noise in the event you want to dabble in chaos periodically – this is your place. The beach is masterfully quiet and whether your paddle boarding in the morning or sitting by a beach fire at night – it’s truly what vacation is supposed to look and feel like. The lovely Maria and Alilat are 4 Season Concierge level talents and stop at nothing to ensure your stay is a vacation. A few suggestions: Golf at Puerto Los Cabos is simply the best. I’ve played nearly every course in Cabo and you won’t be sorry to try Puerto. Everyone loves Flora Farms – it’s amazing and for sure a “don’t miss.” We discovered two additional places on our recent trip – Zach’s which is a great spot for lunch and a beer… the drive there is super fun and the buffalo wings (coming from a guy who loves them) are so good. The other spot you must try is El Matador in San Jose. It’s not in the old town – it was our first venture out of that area in terms of dinning in San Jose. El Matador is so so so great – especially for large groups of family/friends. You won’t be sorry. We’ve been going to Cabo for about 15 years – we’ve been there done that… and I can’t imagine staying anywhere other than El Encanto.
